Description | This retroviral gene-trap vector uses Flpe recombinase for the first inversion of the gene-trap cassette using the unidirectional FIEx system (frt and F3). For the second inversion a FIEx configurated Cre recombinase system is used (loxP and lox5171). Furthermore the spacer between the 5'frt site and the F3 site has been substituted. To enhance the sensitivity of the neomycin cassette the neomycin resistance gene was modified. This vector is used in frameshift variations. Additional nucleotides were introduced into the adenoviral splice acceptor. |
